What the quote says

Tick only what is written in the quote. Anything else goes on the list of questions.

  • Taking out, transport and disposal of the waste.

  • Sealing, finishing inside and outside, and repair of the wall.

Terms

Why two quotes for the same windows differ

Why two quotes for the same windows differ

Two quotes for the same number of windows can have very different prices without one being dearer. One may use a thin frame series, the other a strong one. One may include removing the old windows, the other not. One may have plain glass, the other Low-E and argon.

If the quote only says "6 PVC windows, €3,200", you cannot tell. So the first step is to ask for everything in writing, window by window. Only then can you compare the price.

How to use the checker

  1. Open your quote and read it line by line.
  2. Tick each point that is written down. Do not tick what you think is included.
  3. Copy the missing questions and send them to the company. Ask for the answer in writing, ideally in a corrected quote.
  4. When you have two or three complete quotes, compare the total and the lines.

What this checker does not tell you

Complete does not mean cheap, or good. It only means the quote describes the points on the list. It does not rate the company, or whether the price is fair, or whether the solution suits your home.

We do not see your quote. The list stays in your browser, and we only send the number of points ticked, with no personal data, if you accepted statistics.
