- Say whether the total includes VAT. If you know the total area, enter it.
- Open "Points the quote states" and tick what is written in each one.
- Read the comparison and send the missing questions to each company.
How to read the result
The price per window helps to compare proposals with the same number of windows. The price per m² helps when sizes differ: a small window costs more per m² than a large one.
Only compare totals when all include, or all exclude, VAT, and when they describe the same windows.
If one quote says much less than another, the cheaper one may have left out fitting, removal of the old windows or finishing. Ask for the missing points in writing.
What this comparison does not do
It does not say which quote is best, or whether the price is fair, and it does not rate the company. It does simple sums with the numbers you enter and shows what is missing.
We do not see your quotes: the numbers stay in your browser. If you accepted statistics, we only count how often the tool is used, with no quote data.
